Gary Yu, Co-Founder and President of Liepins Overseas, Founder and Chair of Boston International Media Consulting and Boston Chinese Radio and TV.
He currently serves as a Commissioner of Asian American & Pacific Islanders Commission of Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Director of Asian Community Liaison at the Massachusetts State Auditor's Office, and a member of the Community Engagement & Community Reinvestment Grants Committee of the Suffolk County Attorney's Office.
In addition to his work, he is passionate about community service and has served as President of the New England Chinese American Alliance (NECAA), President of the Boston-Hangzhou Sister City Association, President of the North American Hangzhou Association, President of Boston Chapter of the Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs (APAPA) , and President of the Massachusetts Chapter of the United Chinese Americans (UCA). He has been awarded many times by the federal, state and City governments with certificates of honor in recognition of his outstanding contributions. In 2023, he was awarded the Diversity and Inclusion Award by U.S Senator Ed Markey.
Recognizing the need for Asian Community to be more active in politics, he joined Michelle Wu's campaign for Boston Mayor in 2020 as the Chief Asian Community Liaison Director, helping Michelle Wu to be elected Mayor of Boston. Mr. Yu has served on the campaign teams of several Massachusetts officials.
On February 15, 2023, he proposed to the Boston City Council that the Lunar New Year be made an official holiday, and the proposal was passed.
On May 17, 2023, he proposed to the Massachusetts State Government that May be designated as Asian Pacific Heritage Month in Massachusetts, which was passed, and on May 20, he hosted the first-ever AAPI Festival.
On February 10, 2024, he was commissioned by the City of Boston to organize the city's first Lunar New Year Festival.
On May 1, 2024, he was invited by the Boston Red Sox to throw out the first pitch of the game between the Boston Red Sox and the San Francisco Giants at Fenway Park in Boston, making Asian American representation history.

Vi has a rich educational background and cross-disciplinary experience. After accumulating many years of management experience in NGOs and multinational companies, she pursued further studies at Stanford University, where she studied International Relations, and completed a Master's in Public Administration at Brown University. She has worked in state government, multinational corporations, and international organizations, covering regions including China, the United States, and Europe.
Currently, she serves as the Director of the College Admissions Department at a high school ranked in the top 1% in the Boston area, successfully helping hundreds of students achieve their college dreams every year.
Vi is well-versed in school admission trends and policies. She not only provides regular guidance and planning but also leverages her international perspective and global educational background from her work with international organizations and collaborations with the United Nations. This helps students broaden their horizons and develop cross-cultural communication and leadership skills. Additionally, she draws on her research conducted at Brown University to discover and nurture students' potential. By combining these theories with practical guidance, she helps students build positive learning beliefs, better plan their academic and career paths, and ensure they lead fulfilling, happy, and meaningful lives. Students she has mentored gain admission to top 20 universities every year.

Mr. Zhao holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Harvard University (Dean's List Academic Achievement Award), a Master's degree in Biochemical Engineering from the University of British Columbia (UBC), and a Bachelor of Applied Science. During his undergraduate studies in engineering at UBC, he graduated with excellent grades and received an acceptance letter for UBC's Master's program in engineering three months early. He was also accepted into other prestigious universities like the University of Toronto. During his Master's, he was mentored by Dr. David Wilkinson, a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, Canadian Research Chair, and founder of Ballard Power Systems, focusing on the application of lithium and hydrogen batteries in electric vehicles. He graduated with an average GPA of 89.8%.
To expand his employment opportunities, he pursued further studies at Harvard University, earning a Master's degree in Computer Multimedia Design with a cumulative GPA of 3.94, graduating with the Dean's List Academic Achievement Award. Mr. Zhao has also worked as an assistant manager in the quality inspection department at Shell, the world's largest oil company, and as a technician at SGS, the world's largest third-party inspection company, in its Alaska branch.
He has dedicated himself to teaching for over nine years, instructing various subjects. Many of his students have achieved excellent results in school, AP and IB exams, and competitions, gaining admission to top universities like UBC, UT, and Waterloo.
