"(《世界人权宣言》) Linguistics Club is an engaging online community for students aged 12–18 who are passionate about understanding language in all its forms. From phonetics and syntax to sociolinguistics and language acquisition, the club offers a unique opportunity to dive deep into the science behind how humans communicate.
我们的工作

Weekly discussions on topics like language structure, sound systems (phonology), and word formation (morphology)
Fun linguistic games and puzzles to challenge understanding of syntax, semantics, and language patterns
Cultural explorations of different languages, dialects, and the role of language in society
Guest speakers including linguists, language experts, and researchers
Group projects like creating language maps, researching endangered languages, or presenting on historical language development
Virtual language challenges, such as deciphering ancient languages or analyzing language evolution

俱乐部规则和指南：

资格： Open to students aged 12–18 with an interest in language and linguistics.
参与： Attend at least two sessions per month and actively engage in discussions.
尊重： Show respect for diverse linguistic backgrounds and differing opinions.
Language Exploration: Explore multiple languages and their structures; no prior linguistic knowledge required.
准备工作 Complete assigned readings, language puzzles, or research before sessions.
团队合作： Collaborate with peers on linguistic projects, respecting everyone’s ideas.
数字礼仪 Be on time, mute when not speaking, and respect virtual meeting space.
创造力： Share your insights or personal experiences related to language, dialects, and communication.
思想开放： Encourage curiosity and a non-judgmental approach to learning about different languages.
行为 Disruptive behavior or disrespectful comments will lead to a warning and possible removal from the club.
