Сайт Клуб дебатов is an intellectually stimulating online community designed for students aged 13–18 who want to sharpen their critical thinking, research, and public speaking skills through structured argumentation and respectful discourse. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced debater, this club helps you build confidence, develop logic-based reasoning, and express your views effectively.
Чем мы занимаемся:
- Weekly debate sessions using various formats: Lincoln-Douglas, Public Forum, British Parliamentary, and more
- Workshops on debate structure, rebuttal techniques, evidence gathering, and logical fallacies
- Topic research sessions and mock debates on current events, ethics, policy, and global issues
- Individual and team-based debate challenges with feedback from peers and mentors
- Guest lectures from experienced debaters, coaches, and public policy experts
- Opportunities to represent the platform in virtual tournaments and inter-club competitions
- Strategy clinics to improve delivery, tone, and persuasion under time constraints
Правила и рекомендации клуба:
- Соответствие требованиям: Open to students aged 13–18 with an interest in argumentation and public speaking.
- Уважение: Debate ideas, not individuals—personal attacks or disrespect are not tolerated.
- Подготовка: Research assigned topics in advance and arrive ready to participate.
- Участие: Attend at least two meetings per month and engage in at least one debate monthly.
- Structure: Follow proper debate format, time limits, and rules during sessions.
- Целостность: Use reliable sources and cite evidence truthfully—plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
- Работа в команде: Collaborate respectfully with team members and opponents.
- Открытость: Be willing to listen and learn from opposing perspectives.
