Group Description
The Music Theory Club is a dynamic and interactive space for students aged 13–18 who are passionate about music and want to deepen their understanding of how music works. Whether you’re a budding musician, composer, or just curious about the building blocks of music, this club offers a comprehensive approach to studying the theory behind melodies, harmonies, rhythms, and more.
What We Do:
- Weekly lessons on the fundamentals of music theory, including scales, intervals, chords, and key signatures
- Exercises to improve your understanding of rhythm, time signatures, and musical notation
- In-depth analysis of famous compositions, learning how theory shapes the music we love
- Group discussions on how music theory applies to different genres such as classical, jazz, pop, and electronic
- Collaboration on composing short musical pieces or arranging songs using theoretical concepts
- Music theory challenges and quizzes to test your knowledge and track progress

Club Rules and Guidelines:
