Le Club de procès simulés is a dynamic and interactive online academic club for students aged 14–18 who are interested in law, public speaking, and courtroom procedure. Designed to simulate real-life courtroom trials, the club offers students the opportunity to role-play as attorneys, witnesses, jurors, and judges in a structured legal setting. It is ideal for students who enjoy debate, critical thinking, collaboration, and persuasive argumentation.
Ce que nous faisons :
- Weekly workshops on trial structure, legal terminology, and courtroom etiquette
- Hands-on mock trial simulations based on fictional and real-world cases
- Training in objection handling, opening/closing statements, witness examination, and cross-examination
- Team-based preparation for competitions and internal tournaments
- Feedback sessions to develop public speaking, strategy, and legal reasoning skills
- Guest sessions with practicing attorneys, law students, or judges who provide insights and mentorship
- Optional participation in regional or virtual mock trial competitions
Règles et directives du club :
- L'éligibilité : Open to students aged 14–18 with a strong interest in legal practice or public speaking.
- Engagement : Members must attend a minimum of 3 sessions per month and participate in team assignments.
- Préparation : Members are expected to study case files and prepare assigned roles before each mock trial.
- Respect : All participants must respect the rules of decorum, team collaboration, and fair debate.
- Intégrité : Plagiarism or misrepresentation of arguments, evidence, or roles is not allowed.
- Travail d'équipe : Team coordination is essential; students must communicate and support their peers.
- Ethical Conduct: Members should demonstrate professionalism, including during role-play and feedback.
- Etiquette numérique : Punctuality, focus, and courtesy are required in all online sessions.
- Feedback Engagement: Members should reflect on critiques and aim to improve performance each session.
- Conséquences : Repeated absences, uncooperative behavior, or violation of rules may lead to suspension or removal.
