Policy Advocacy Club de “The Policy Advocacy Club is a student-led online club for individuals aged 13–18 who are passionate about social change and civic engagement through public policy. This club is a hub for aspiring changemakers to learn how government policies are created, how advocacy works, and how youth voices can influence local, national, and global decisions. Whether you care about climate justice, education reform, healthcare, human rights, or digital safety, this club empowers you to speak up and take action.
What We Do:Estudiar cómo se elaboran, debaten y aprueban las políticas en los distintos niveles de gobierno.
Organizar simulaciones y campañas de promoción, como peticiones, redacción de cartas y actividades de divulgación en la comunidad.
Analizar las leyes y propuestas actuales y debatir sus posibles repercusiones
Aprender a comunicarse eficazmente con los legisladores, los líderes comunitarios y el público en general.
Colaborar en informes políticos y presentaciones que aborden cuestiones del mundo real.
Oradores invitados de los sectores gubernamental, activista y sin ánimo de lucro
Participar en retos mensuales como la redacción de proyectos de ley, la realización de campañas de sensibilización o la organización de debates en ayuntamientos.
Normas y directrices del club:
Eligibility: Open to students aged 13–18 who have an interest in politics, law, or community change.
Respectful Dialogue: All members must engage in civil, respectful conversations regardless of differing opinions.
Non-Partisan Focus: While discussing real issues, the club remains non-partisan and promotes constructive debate.
Research-Driven: Advocacy work must be grounded in credible sources, data, and factual accuracy.
Participation: Members are expected to attend at least two meetings per month and contribute to ongoing projects.
Professionalism: Practice clear, respectful communication when interacting with officials or drafting public materials.
Team Collaboration: Members must work cooperatively, especially during group campaigns and simulations.
Ethical Engagement: Uphold integrity in all forms of advocacy and representation.
