        Data Science Club

Tina changed the description of the group Group logo of Data Science ClubData Science Club from “The Data Science Club is a forward-thinking online academic community for students aged 14–18 who are interested in understanding the world through data. This club introduces members to essential concepts in statistics, programming, data visualization, machine learning, and ethical data use. Whether you’re new to the field or already fluent in Python or Excel, the Data Science Club is your gateway to the fast-growing world of analytics.
        What We Do:

Weekly sessions covering topics like data types, exploratory data analysis, predictive modeling, and AI basics

Hands-on projects analyzing real-world datasets (e.g., sports, climate, health, social media)

Learning tools such as Python, Jupyter Notebooks, Google Sheets, and Tableau

Monthly data challenges, hackathons, and coding competitions

Guest speakers from the tech industry and academia

Guidance on building a data portfolio and preparing for data science competitions

        Club Rules and Guidelines:

Eligibility: Open to students aged 14–18; no prior data science experience required, but a strong interest in math and logic is recommended.

Attendance: Members must attend a minimum of two meetings per month.

Participation: Students are expected to contribute to group projects and discussions.

Academic Integrity: All work must be original. Use of datasets or code must be properly cited.

Teamwork: Respect all contributions during collaborative projects. Everyone’s input matters.

Data Ethics: Members must not use or analyze personal or sensitive data without consent and must follow platform guidelines on privacy.

Communication: Stay respectful, use clear and professional language, and remain on-topic in all discussions.

Safety: Avoid sharing personal information in datasets or visualizations.

Preparation: Students should review assigned tutorials or readings before each session.

Conduct: Misconduct, repeated disruptions, or rule violations may result in warnings or removal from the club.
